01Ask questions about your model
Find elements by their actual properties, inspect parameters and read Revit warnings. Get an inventory of levels, views, sheets and loaded view templates.
Try askingList the doors narrower than 32 inches and show their widths.
02Find and document drawing issues
Scan for wall-top gaps, duplicate walls and doors too close to corners. Fix qualifying gaps and duplicates, or build before-and-after QA views, sheets and a PDF. Ambiguous issues remain questions for the architect.
Try askingScan the model and tell me which issues need my judgment.
03Go straight to the relevant view
Select and zoom to elements, open views and sheets by name or number, and find the sheet containing a view. Highlight elements with a solid color so they are easy to spot.
Try askingHighlight those doors on this sheet.
04Create plans, sections and elevations
Create floor plans, wall sections and directional elevations. Duplicate or rename views and apply a loaded view template to an individual view.
Try askingCreate a section through this wall and name it Wall Section 01.
05Build views around selected rooms
Create room floor plans and reflected ceiling plans, enlarged-plan callouts and interior elevations. Set crops, names and templates; callouts can be placed into available sheet space.
Try askingPreview floor and ceiling plans for the kitchen and corridor.
06Tag plans and tidy existing tags
Add missing room, door, window, wall, ceiling, furniture and equipment tags. Work across selected sheets, center room tags and align door tags to their swing direction. Annotate Plan combines tags with basic envelope dimensions and a layout pass.
Try askingPreview the missing door and window tags on sheets A1.1 through A1.3.
07Assemble sheets and schedules
Create sheets using loaded title blocks, place views, create or update schedules, place schedules on sheets and export selected sheets to PDF.
Try askingCreate a door schedule with Mark, Width and Fire Rating.
08Investigate missing elements
Inspect view settings and the possible reasons an element is hidden. Create a separate diagnostic view with visibility restrictions relaxed, then remove it when finished. Hide or unhide specified elements in a view.
Try askingWhy is this wall missing from the active view?
09Make targeted model updates
Change writable element parameters, number doors from their rooms and delete specified elements. Inspect design options and choose the option a view displays. Changing the primary option remains a manual Revit operation; Revito can explain the steps and affected views.
Try askingPreview door marks based on room numbers.
10Capture style and remember conventions
Export loaded style settings and actual sheet usage: text, tags, dimensions, view scales, title blocks and viewport placement. Record your stated firm rules for future tasks, including supported naming and tagging settings.
Try askingExport the styles used on this project's sheets.
